Dr. Darrien believes the body is a self-healing & guided system when free of interferences. An adjustment removes interferences within your spine and nervous system, allowing your body to heal naturally. Chiropractic services are geared towards alleviating spinal pain (neck & back). You may also experience improved flexibility, enhanced quality of sleep, and an increased level of awareness with consistent care.

What to expect

Dr. Darrien has a gentle approach that combines hands-on manipulations with the use of an instrument-assisted tool, called an activator. This unique technique assists with the realignment of the spine and stimulation of the nervous system.

It is not uncommon to hear cavitations (gas release from the joints) during the adjustments, but may not always occur. Dr. Darrien will always use the technique that best serves your body and, above all, that you are comfortable with. For expecting mothers, Dr. Darrien uses the Webster Technique.

Insurance + HSA/FSA

Dr. Darrien particpates with BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS)/CareFirst and Aetna. If you have a HSA/FSA, you can also pay for your care using these funds or submit for reimbursement.
